Cookie Policy
What MoneyTools stores in your browser and how to control it.
Effective October 13, 2026. This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used by the current MoneyTools website.
What MoneyTools stores
MoneyTools does not set advertising cookies. It uses the following:
- theme: remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. It is a functional preference, stays on your device and is not used to identify or track you.
- Google Analytics 4 (cookies such as _ga and _ga_*): measures page views and general site usage. Calculator inputs are not sent. You can block these cookies in your browser or use Google's opt-out add-on.
Calculator inputs and results are held in page memory only and are not saved in cookies or browser storage.
Third-party requests
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Those requests send standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, to Google. Hosting and security providers may also use strictly necessary technologies to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
Consent
The site does not currently show a cookie consent banner. Analytics cookies are not strictly necessary; visitors in regions that require prior consent (such as the EU and UK) may need one, and this policy will be updated if a consent mechanism is added.
Your controls
You can delete the theme setting at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Most browsers also let you block cookies and site storage; MoneyTools calculators keep working if you do.
