Corrections Policy
How errors are reviewed and fixed.
Our commitment
MoneyTools aims for accurate calculations and clear explanations. When a mistake is found, it is corrected as quickly as practical.
What counts as an error
Errors include an incorrect formula or result, a wrong worked example, a broken link, outdated information or wording that could mislead. Differences caused by your own inputs or by a provider's separate rules are not errors, but unclear explanations of them may be improved.
How corrections are made
A reported issue is checked by recalculating the example or reviewing the formula. Confirmed calculation errors are fixed in the calculator code, covered by an automated test and reflected in the page's example. Material corrections to a guide are noted on that guide.
Reporting an issue
See the Contact page for current contact availability. Include the page address, the values you entered and the result you expected. Do not send account numbers or other sensitive information.
