How it works
Pick long or short, then enter entry, stop-loss, take-profit and size. The stop must be on the losing side of entry and the target on the winning side.
Formula & methodology
Risk = |Entry − Stop| × Size Reward = |Target − Entry| × Size Ratio = 1 : Reward ÷ Risk
The ratio is not a probability.
Illustrative example
Long at $100
Stop $95 and target $112 on 10 units: risk $50, reward $120, ratio 1 : 2.40.
